Course & Race Details
Participants must be in their lane and ready to race by the following times:
- Ages 13-18: 8:00 am
- Ages 9-12: 8:30 am
- Ages 5-8: 9:30 am
There is one of the following age divisions for both boys and girls:
- Swimmers: 5/6 | 7/8 | 9/10 | 11/12 | 13/14 | 15/16 | 17/18
- Non Swimmers (life jacket used): 5/6 | 7/8
The non-swimmer categories are for those needing a life jacket to swim 25 meters; life jackets are mandatory for this category.
No changes can be made to swimmer status once the registration form has been submitted. Participants compete with those in their swimming status group, gender group and age group as listed above.
Ages 5-12 swim 25 meters (one length of the pool). Ages 13-18 swim 75 meters (three lengths of the pool).
Life jackets must be worn for the non-swimmer’s category and will be provided.
All ages will bike 1.2 miles. Helmets are required. Participants must use two-wheeled self-propelled bicycles only. Scooters and tricycles are prohibited. Training wheels are accepted for the 5/6 age division.
Note: One parent can help their child put shoes on after the swim and before beginning the bike course. However, parents will not be allowed in the transition area to avoid congesting the area. Event volunteers will be in the transition area to assist the participants.
Ages 5-12 will run 0.5 miles. Ages 13-18 will run 3.1 miles.
Note: One parent can run with their child throughout the run course but must not cross the finish line with their child to eliminate interference with our timing results. A designated parent stop point will be marked and initiated.
